On p. 95 Reyes says, “There’s a particular amount of attention needed to notice where one’s feet are located. When we think about our footprints in the soil, we can begin to see our commitments and values being expressed in very tangible ways.” Do you see the connection to our cohort’s focus on values and practice in this quote? How does the theology of soil (from chapter 5) help us to continue to reflect on how we are living into what we believe? How does the dirt underneath our feet inform us of what we value and believe?
Bring this reflection into a prayer practice for the week. Each day, consider where your feet have been. Where were you? What were you doing? Who were you with? How can that place help you see God in you and around you? Bring this desire to see God into your prayer each day.
